Vanity pets......in swtor?

>> Tuesday, February 21, 2012

Yes, you better believe it.  There are several vanity pets in game at this point in time. So if you like to collect them, now would be a great time to start. There are currently 16 vanity pets, although there is one that is from the CE version only so if you didn't get that, you will be out of luck on the Minimech CE.  Now there are some that are from the Lightside vendor OR the Darkside vendor, so getting all of them will be a challenge. But if you have collected stuff in other games, you are no stranger to challenge.

Fresh Cryomoss: Summons and dismisses Smelly the Tauntaun

Hutt Observer: Summons a small probe droid which will follow and passively observe you on your adventures. (This pet is sold on the Collectors Edition Vendor for 25k)

Interrogation Droid: Summons a small probe droid which will follow and passively observe you on your adventures. (Purchased from Lord Davorak: Dark Side Vendor for 25,000 credits. Dark III required)

L2-P2's Call Signal: Summons and dismisses a miniature astromech. (Was given to all beta testers after the servers went live.)

Lil' Probey's Codec: Summons and dismisses Lil' Probey, the curious miniature probe droid.

Little SandCrawler: Summons a small mouse droid which will follow and passively observe you on your adventures. (Purchased from Lord Vassanar: Light Side vendor for 25,000 credits. Light III required)

Minimech CE:  Summons your Collector's Edition Minimech mouse droid which will follow and passively observe you on your adventures. (From Collectors Edition of SW:TOR only)

Mouse Droid:  Summons a small mouse droid which will follow and passively observe you on your adventures. (Can be purchased from any Security Key Vendor for 25,000 credits)

Red Wattled Orobird:  Summons and dismisses a noble Orobird.

Rhythm Augmentation Droid Summons an astromech droid to serenade you for 30 seconds. (Can be purchased from any Security Key Vendor for 55,000 credits)

Smelly: Summons and dismisses Smelly the Tauntaun

The Czerka Eye: Summons a small probe droid which will follow and passively observe you on your adventures. (Found on a vendor (mular"Stef) in the Aurek Base on Hoth)

T0R-CE Mk 7 Assembly Kit: Summons and dismisses Torchy, your very own T0R-CE Mk7 droid.

Tynock: Summons and dismisses Torchy, your very own T0R-CE Mk7 droid.

Tiny Delicious Energy Couplings: Summons and dismisses Tynock, the tiny mynock.

M0-GUL Thrall Droid: Summons the M0-GUL Thrall Droid which will follow and passively observe you on your adventures.

If you happen to know where some of them can be found that are not marked here, please toss it in a comment so we can keep this updated for everyone to use as a "shopping list". So it would seem that Bioware is very aware that people like to collect things such as speeders as well as vanity pets/droids. Next, I'll cover the frivolous clothing in game, the "slave girl" stuff and where you can find the different stuff.

I looked for a way to send you an email about this, but I didn't see any options, so here I go!

Is there a way that you can offer an RSS feed through Blogger? I don't really know anything about it (I only really made the account to comment here!) but I think it would be super handy for coming back to your blog. I know I use RSS feeds to keep up with all of my blogs, and currently only find my way back here when I stumble on your link from someone else's blog (which is fine, but I feel like I'm missing your posts. >:)

Secondly, commenting is really difficult unless you have one of these set comment options. I have my own blog hosted on my own space, and hadn't really bothered with setting up things via Google or Blogger or what have you. Most blogs give you an option of offering your name, an email, and your website - and this encourages comments. Unfortunately it also encourages spam, but I guess that's a double edged sword.

I actually just ran through a bunch of different things with WordPress and Blogger trying to be able to comment here. I promise the only thing I really wanted to say at first was: "Hey, this is a cool post about vanity pets! I also really am looking forward to the vanity gear, because as an RPer I love playing dress-up!"

But every time I commented Blogger kept slapping me in the face!

This isn't a complaint, by the way; it's more a plea, because I enjoy reading your blog but I'm incapable of being able to keep up with blogs that aren't on my RSS feed. >: I'd also love to comment easier! I mean, the fake Blogger I made works now, but... you know. D:

Anyways, great job with the blog! Hope you keep it up! Consider the RSS feed because some ADD readers really need it to keep up with ya. >:

Thanks for the heads up about RSS, it is something that I've wanted to set up but fell through the crack with all the stuff I'm doing with BMotE. I also went back and checked about commenting, some of the settings had reverted to default and I now have it so that commenting should be quick and easy. Thanks again for the heads up. :-) Thanks for following and I'm currently working a post about the "RP gear" in the game at the moment.

O vanity pets, you are my bane. I will have the mouse droid, I think he is a cutey.

Yeah, once I hit lvl40 and get my faster speeder, I'm gonna pick up a mouse droid too. Then it's off to collect speeders, lol.
